Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Support Engineers to join our IT team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT infrastructure, providing timely technical assistance, and maintaining a secure endpoint environment. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, problem-solvers, and excellent communicators.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Endpoint Provisioning: Provisioning of PCs and pre-installation of essential software, including Microsoft Office 365, development environments, and other related applications for new employees.
- Active Directory Management: Execution of Local Admin tasks, such as adding, modifying, or removing user permissions within Microsoft Active Directory.
- Security Solution Support: Providing technical support for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions utilized by CLO, ensuring their optimal performance and effectiveness.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Offering comprehensive support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the use of Endpoints (PCs, tablets, and smartphones) and Network infrastructure.
- Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication in English with team members and end-users, both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory for user and permission management.
- Familiarity with IT security concepts, including DLP and EDR solutions.
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting common network issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-service oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Location & Positions
We are looking to fill the following positions:
- Onsite Support Engineer: 1 position based in Bangalore.
- Remote Support Engineer: 2 positions based out of Chennai.
